  • Remember that load in is the day BEFORE the session!

  • Get proper rest the night before!!

  • Show up and remain sober during your performance!

  • Dress your best! The cameras are rolling and you will be getting some free polaroids from the session!

  • Show up with fresh strings/drum heads and ensure your guitars and bass are setup and ready to sound great!

  • Let us know ahead of time if you plan to bring any stage props or a banner.

  • Let us know how soon after your session you would prefer to release your “Live From Smoking Nun” album & video. Rush pricing to be discussed if requested within 1 month after your booking.

  • Prepare sick album art for your “Live From Smoking Nun” album release to streaming. DO NOT USE AI FOR THIS. Human artists available upon request.

  • Ensure your band’s YouTube account is created so that we can collaborate with your account upon uploading the video, allowing your channel to be accessed directly from the video.

  • Decide if you would like us to prepare a social media promotion package for your episode including instagram reels, YouTube shorts, tiktok videos, Spotify Canvas, band interviews and more! Determine what your budget for this is so we can prepare a social media bundle that meets the goals of your release.

  • Prepare to play like you’re in front of 100,000 people…you are on camera!!

  • Decide if you will want us to make physical media or merch (Shirts, CDs, DVDs, Cassettes, etc.) and determine what your budget for that would be so we can make you a merch bundle that suits it.

  • Decide if you’d like us to help sell your physical media or merch for this release in our physical and digital stores.

  • Decide how you want your video to look and if you will want us to do any kind of creative FX/Filters for your video outside of our standard video enhancement.

  • Decide if you’d like to get professional photos taken during and after your set in addition to the video. +$50 10 high res images by Thea at @dark.river.photography on instagram.

  • Determine if our standard free video (studio lighting, no FX/Filters, title, angle cuts, thumbnail and color corrections) is suitable for your video and the aesthetic of your band, or if you’d like our video crew to get more creative with stage lighting & FX to get it to stand out! Let us to know before the session so we can prepare properly.

  • GO PRACTICE!!!!!!!
